K & T Transport was established in June of 2000 by the husband-wife outfit Kenton and Angie Koon. Unique from other companies featured in this section, K & T is not technically a carrier, but a load broker. They are an Indiana-based company that concentrates solely on expedited transportation. Since the beginning, business has been growing slowly and steadily as they gain more contacts and recognition in the business.

K & T Transport joined the GPSNet alliance in November of 2002, using the AllianceConnect system on a daily basis since. Anyone who receives load posting e-mails knows that K & T is one of the most active members posting on the system. Kent Koon attributes much of his growth to the contacts he has made through the GPSNet service: 90% of his loads are brokered to GPS carriers. "I'm able to focus on getting customers and shippers and I don't have to worry about finding quality reliable carriers - they're right there with the system," says Koon. He also adds, "it has been a pleasure working with all the carriers that I've dealt with."
